APR BBC responded to their Game 1 defeat with a narrow 82–79 victory over RSSB Tigers in Game 2 of the Rwanda Basketball League playoffs to level the series at 1–1.

After losing Game 1 97–82, APR came into the second encounter determined to respond.

They started strongly, edging the first quarter 22–21 before taking a 45–39 lead at halftime.

Craig Randall led APR in scoring with 31 points and four assists.

Tigers improved after the break and remained within reach, but APR maintained their composure to lead 62–58 heading into the final quarter.

The closing minutes were intense as Tigers pushed for a comeback.

Nisre Zouzoua, who scored 22 points, hit back-to-back three-pointers late in the game to bring Tigers within two points at 81–79, but APR held their nerve.

With 10 seconds remaining, Adonis converted a free throw to make it 82–79. Tigers had one final chance, but their attempt missed, allowing APR to secure a hard-fought victory.

With the series now tied 1–1, APR will look to build on their momentum while RSSB Tigers will aim to bounce back and regain control in the next series.
